God wants you to spend time with him and put him first. In fact if you really love the Lord more than you love your own life you wouldn’t do this. Are you giving your life more time than you spend talking to Jesus? Or are you more interested in going out and talking to Jesus whenever you have the chance to do so rather than spend your time doing your own pleasures and pursuits. Few people really love Jesus so very few people want to go and spend their time with him. How about you?
Do you want to go and just spend your time with Jesus, talking to him and giving him your time? Or you just want to give your own pursuits and dreams and hobbies is all your time and just a quick prayer at night to the Lord before you go to sleep! There is no reward for that. The people who do put the Lord first will be rewarded in due time because they love him more than the world and they do not love their lives more than him. How about you? Do you really love Jesus? What are you doing with your time? Are you giving it to him?

Your focus must be on me if you want to please me. If you do not focus on me you cannot abide in me and if you do not abide in me you will wither.And if you wither, in time the Father will cut you off from me. Such withered branches are gathered up and burned. Give your time to me, in speaking and praying to me and you will be rewarded.
What time are you giving to me today? Any? Those who give their time to me, will be hidden on the days of my wrath…They will not see troubles that tests the worldly, but will come to the place I have prepared for them. How are you spending your time? Are you giving it to me? If you love the world and the things of your life more than me, you are not worthy of me.Many give more time to those things than they give to me. There is not reward for giving your time to the things of this world rather than setting aside time for me. Am I your first love? Or is it first your life? Or another? Prove that I am your first love, by giving your time to me. Great is the reward in heaven for he who sets himself apart for me.
